Overview

Monarch Montessori of Denver is two schools under one roof, a Denver Public Charter Elementary school and an ECE in Far Northeast Denver. Our schools provide a high-quality learning environment for students and supportive work atmosphere for staff.

Monarch follows the Montessori teaching curriculum. Our campus offers a large outdoor learning environment, greenhouse, peace path and chickens!

Major Duties and Responsibilities Include

Curriculum instruction, material preparation, classroom management, parent education, meetings, conferences, record-keeping and data assessment

Requirements

Must have authorization to work in the US
Bachelor’s degree, Colorado teacher licensure (or ability to obtain licensure), and passing the relevant PRAXIS exam(s) required
Montessori teaching certification strongly preferred but not required.

Demonstrate a willingness and ability to integrate data and assessment with traditional Montessori curriculum in order to close the achievement gap for our students.
