Overview
Monarch Montessori of Denver charter elementary school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team full-time. The successful candidate will work with students with diverse learning needs, providing individualized support to help them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet students’ unique needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to support student progress.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.

About Monarch Montessori of Denver Elementary
Monarch Montessori of Denver is two schools under one roof: a public Kindergarten through 5th elementary and a tuition-based ECE for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Both schools teach traditional Montessori curriculum. Monarch has a large outdoor learning environment, greenhouse, peace path and chickens!
