The Montessori Academy of Carrollwood (MAC) is an authentic Montessori school serving children from infancy through kindergarten. Position Summary
We are seeking a Montessori Teacher for our primary classroom (ages 3-6). The ideal candidate is passionate about the Montessori method, works well as part of a teaching team, and is committed to building strong relationships with children and families. Local candidates only please. No relocation package offered.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Montessori lessons in a fully equipped classroom
  • Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and beautiful environment
  • Observe, document, and assess student progress
  • Collaborate with assistants to plan and lead daily routines
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with families
  • Participate in and help prepare annual school events, including cultural celebrations, concerts, and parent connection days
  • Support outdoor play, snack/lunch, and transitions with consistency and care

Qualifications

  • Montessori certification/training or in process of getting certified is required
  • Classroom experience with preschool aged children
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Calm, professional, and reliable presence
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus

What We Offer

  • Salary: $41,000 – $47,000 annually, based on years of experience & certification(s)
  • Health Insurance: 50% employer-paid
  • Paid Time Off: 7 personal days
