Overview
Nevada Wildflower Montessori (NNWM) is hiring Founding Teacher Leaders for our new public Montessori charter school, set to open in August 2027. We’re part of the Wildflower Network and looking for visionary educators to help us build something meaningful from the ground up. This begins as a flexible, part-time, remote planning role in 2026–27 and transitions to full-time in August 2027.
- Candidates must have or be able to obtain a NEVADA TEACHING LICENSE with the appropriate endorsement.
- U.S. WORK AUTHORIZATION IS REQUIRED. As a small start-up, we are unable to sponsor visas.
- We welcome applicants from outside the area, though we are not able to assist with relocation costs.
- A Montessori credential is preferred, but if you don’t have one yet, we can sponsor your training (cost dependent).
- Members of the Global Majority and native Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply.

About Northern Nevada Wildflower Montessori
Northern Nevada Wildflower Montessori School is a charter school in Reno/Sparks opening in the fall of 2027. We will begin with PreK-3rd grade and expand to serve PreK to 6th-grade students through high-quality education that bridges academic outcomes with authentic Montessori. Northern Nevada Wildflower Montessori is a member of the Wildflower Network of schools. Wildflower is an ecosystem of decentralized Montessori micro-schools that support children, teachers, and parents. Wildflower aspires to give all children and families the opportunity to choose high-quality, beautiful learning environments as they follow life’s unfolding journey.
