Overview
A Montessori school located in Menlo Park has a vacancy for a permanent Montessori teaching position. The commitment is a full-time position.
Candidates should have a genuine love for working with children aged 13 months through 5 years. We encourage a loving and supportive environment, believe strongly in working cohesively as a team, and focus on the development of the child.
If you are an enthusiastic, dependable, patient, loving, and dedicated assistant teacher this can be a great opportunity for you. Montessori experience is required.
Minimum Requirements:
AMI or AMS certificate (not required, but a huge plus)
Background Clearance
Immunization record and COVID Vaccine
A genuine love of working with young children
1-2 years experience working at a preschool or Montessori school
Ability to interact with children, parents, and, teachers in a caring and empathetic manner
Desire to learn and Montessori education
Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or secondary language (not required, but a huge plus)
Can work well with other teachers to keep the environment for the child orderly and clean
Full-time: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm
