Khalsa Montessori Teacher Education Program started operations in 2010, first offering the Montessori Early Childhood Program. This program, and the Elementary 1 (6 - 9 years) Course, which started in 2013, is affiliated with American Montessori Society, and is accredited by MACTE (Montessori Accreditation council for Teacher Education). In the summer of 2017, the Khalsa Montessori TEP started offering an Elementary I - II program, and in the summer of 2018, an Elementary II program.
Khalsa Montessori TEP Director, Janice Mayhew, has many years experience directing and instructing Montessori courses, and the Instructors are all experienced Montessorians.
